Vince McMahon’s retirement from WWE is all over the front page.
The announcement of Vince McMahon’s retirement stunned the wrestling industry. The 76-year-old departed WWE amidst sexual allegations.
While the fallout of McMahon’s departure will occur throughout the coming months, the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the McMahon allegations, posted the shocking news on its front page. As seen below, the headline of their recent issue reads, “On the Ropes for Alleged Misconduct, Vince McMahon to Retire.” The former CEO is waving goodbye as he holds a WWE microphone in his hand.

McMahon announced his retirement via social media. He thanked all the fans and wrestlers for helping make WWE the major wrestling/entertainment promotion it is today. It was also announced that Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan will now serve as co-CEOs of the company going forward.
