Vince McMahon and The British Bulldog’s daughter took to Twitter and social media earlier today, reacting to the passing of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. The British Bulldog’s daughter, Georgia Smith, is Neidhart’s niece:

I’ve just received some sad news in my family that my uncle Jim has passed away… These are only a few nice moments I captured when I saw Jim last, and a small part of all the fun and wonderful times I’ve shared with Jim. I know I haven’t seen Jim much over the years since I’ve resided in England, but Jim along with my aunt Ellie, and their daughters @natbynature, @kristinculbreth, and Jenni were a huge part of mine and @dbsmithjr early life and our upbringing. Jim was a one of kind true character. He was very charming, entertaining and was always dressed cool, and always stood out. Jim always had that ‘it’ factor and style that only a few people can pull off. Jim was also hilarious, very generous, and a very gentle, animal lover. Jim would always make you feel special, and would always say nice things, and compliment you, which I’ll never forget. A true gentleman… I’m very sad and shocked by the passing of Jim. But I just want to say thank you Jim for the memories. For treating me and Harry like we were your own kids back when we all lived together in Florida, and for always being so nice and generous to me over the years. I’m glad we got to catch up at Christmas time, and got to watch old videos on my phone of you and Bret against my dad and Tom back in the 80’s, along with watching your old promos, and the WWF’s “Land of 1000 dances” video you were in… This has hit my family and I hard. I love you Jim. I know Davey is jumping for joy and is so happy that you two are together now. We will miss you Jim.
