As we previously reported here on eWn, Vince McMahon was backstage at Monday’s WWE RAW TV tapings, the first time he had been at a WWE show since his retirement last year due to the hush money scandal.
It was later reported that McMahon was at RAW to visit John Cena, who made his return to WWE television to set up his WrestleMania 39 match with US Champion Austin Theory.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that McMahon was, in fact, in Gorilla position backstage all night. It was added that McMahon is “doing more than they’re letting on.”
However, Triple H was still in charge of the show as he continues to oversee creative.
