Former WWE writer Vince Russo believes a Bray Wyatt return will work, if the former Universal Champion has creative control.
Wyatt was released in July 2021, despite being popular with fans at the time due to his work as ‘The Fiend.’
It was later reported that creative differences with Vince McMahon and a high-dollar contract caused WWE to cut Wyatt.
Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Outlaws podcast, Vince Russo addressed the possibility of a Wyatt return.
“I now hope he’s going back on his terms. I hope he got it in writing, “If we’re gonna do this, I’m doing this my, whether it’s creative control, whatever it is.”
“I’m sure he’s smart enough to ensure that BS is not gonna happen.”
With McMahon retired, there is new hope that Wyatt will return to WWE with Triple H acting as Head of Creative and Talent Relations.
Wyatt hasn’t competed since his WWE release, making his WrestleMania 37 loss to Randy Orton his most recent match.
