It was announced during today’s episode of WWE NXT UK that Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and William Regal have “reached an agreement” that will see WALTER face Ilja Dragunov with the NXT UK World Title on the line at NXT TakeOver 36 next month.
WWE originally planned to hold the match next week, but it was postponed after WALTER “suffered a severe injury to his left hand.” The injury is legitimate although there is no word on how it occurred as of this writing.
WWE NXT TakeOver 36 takes place on August 22. The show will live on the Peacock streaming service in the United States and the WWE Network elsewhere.
