Fightful Select is reporting that several people within Warner Bros. Discovery are happy that MJF has returned to the company. One person pointed out that AEW has actually been a “consistent ratings success” for WBD.
The report also adds that MJF suggesting in a recent interview that he didn’t leave his house for several months was “mostly true,” noting he didn’t have contact with several close friends until right before his AEW return.
Several roster members did learn that he would, in fact, be The Joker in the Casino Ladder match. MJF also remained in Los Angeles after his “pipebomb promo” for meetings in regards to several Hollywood projects.
In recent interviews, MJF has been teasing going over to the world of Hollywood following his pro wrestling career.
