WWE Hall of Famer Edge is hoping to end his in-ring career on his own terms this time next year.
In 2011, Edge was forced into retirement due to neck issues, but was able to return to the ring in January 2020.
On this week’s RAW, Edge defeated Damian Priest in his hometown of Toronto, and addressed the fans after the show.
Edge explained that the next time he wrestles in Toronto is when he plans on retiring, adding that “we all say goodbye to each other that night.”
The Rated-R Superstar added that WWE comes to Canada every August, and expects to finish his in-ring career in August 2023.
After #WWERAW went of the air Edge revealed that he wants to have his final match next August in 2023 in Toronto Canada.

There’s no word on who Edge hopes to face in this final year of his career or who he’ll face in his final ever match.
