As noted, the originally scheduled Triple Threat match between Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa and Aleister Black for the NXT Title at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV will not take place due to Black undergoing surgery following a groin injury that he suffered at an NXT live event. The main event will likely be Ciampa vs. Gargano for the NXT Title in the main event.
WWE has since done an angle that has written Black off of television after the official Takeover match announcement was made as seen below.
