What Did Johnny Gargano Say Regarding His Future On WWE NXT 2.0?, Details Inside

The much anticipated promo from Johnny Gargano where he addressed his future with WWE took place at the end of Tuesday night’s episode of NXT 2.0.

During the promo, Gargano noted that his future with the company was “up in air” and was then attacked by Grayson Waller.

Gargano discussed his journey in WWE NXT and credited William Regal as the person who believed in him the most and put him in a match after a failed NXT tryout. This then led to his successful run in WWE.

As far as Gargano’s immediate future is concerned, he said,

“I may do some things here and there, but I do know one thing is for sure; in February, I’m going to do the most important job of my life. I’m going to be a dad.”

Following the promo segment, Gargano was attacked by Grayson Waller as the show went off the air. Waller hit Gargano with a chair and then wrapped the chair around Gargano’s neck on the outside before throwing him into the ring steps. He then powerbombed Gargano through the announcers table to end the show.

As you all know by now, Gargano’s WWE NXT contract has expired and he’s now a free agent. It appears he’ll at least be taking some time off with the upcoming birth of his child. Whether he returns to WWE or pursues other options after that remains to be seen. Obviously, WWE has a built-in storyline with Grayson Waller if Gargano decides to return.

It should be noted that WWE appeared to give both Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly a send-off following NXT 2.0 going off the air.
