Following Friday night’s WWE SmackDown! Live broadcast, the dark match segment featured Randy Orton and Kevin Owens coming out and destroying Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, Mike Kanellis, and Ariya Daivari.
There were originally plans to do a Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton match following WWE 205 Live. Nese and Gulak interrupted Orton and Owens and started a brawl. At one point, Ariya Daivari tried to attack Orton from behind, but Orton hit him with an RKO. Mike Kanellis tried to get on the microphone, but he was also hit with an RKO and a Stunner from Owens to close out the show.
