Bianca Belair was able to shake off the mist by Asuka to compete after this week’s episode of SmackDown went off the air.
During SmackDown, Belair’s in-ring promo was interrupted by Asuka, who turned heel with a mist attack on the RAW Women’s Champion.
After the show finished filming, Belair defeated IYO SKY in a rematch of their WWE Backlash 2023 encounter.
Though not official yet, it has been pitched backstage for Asuka to face Belair at WWE Night of Champions 2023 later this month.
