While Jake Hager has been a prominent presence on All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Dynamite show, he hasn’t actually competed in the ring for the promotion yet. That’s likely due to his obligations as a heavyweight mixed martial artist with Bellator MMA.
A recent report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed exactly that. Hager isn’t allowed to compete inside the ring for AEW until after his upcoming fight for Bellator. That won’t take long, as Hager is scheduled to fight in one week on October 25 against opponent Anthony Garrett, who holds a record of 4-2.
After that fight is in the books, Hager will be able to wrestle for AEW freely. Hager currently trains five days a week in MMA but takes off Tuesdays and Wednesdays for AEW Dynamite.
