WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes has said that current United States Champion Theory reminds him of himself.
Rhodes faced Theory for the U.S title earlier this month, but failed to win the gold, instead winning via disqualification when Seth Rollins attacked.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Rhodes explained that the young Theory has a lot in common with him as he noticed during their match:
“Watching him in the ring made me think back to a time when I was really young and full of arrogance and bravado. I also saw a little doubt in his eyes. That’s what makes this game so fun. He may not admit it, but I was there on the other side, too, and I felt that. It’s a good edge for me to have now in the ring.”
