Last night (Sat. June 1, 2019), Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly failed to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT Takeover: XXV. They did, however, get to celebrate with Adam Cole after his big NXT Championship victory over Johnny Gargano.
One interesting part of the celebration, however, was that Fish was noticeably wearing a sling on his arm. According to PWInsider, this was merely a precautionary measure taken by WWE. Fish apparently banged his shoulder up during he and O’Reilly’s Ladder match earlier in the night.
The hope is that Fish’s injury is just a minor injury but nothing will be able to be confirmed until an MRI is performed. The belief is also that everyone came out relatively unscathed, but they want to give things time and see how everyone feels tomorrow due to the nature of the match.
