During Sunday night’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event, a large poster of Roman Reigns was shown during the Climb the Corporate Ladder Money in the Bank match. The poster was visible as AJ Styles was walking down the hallways of WWE Headquarters. That’s all it took for Roman Reigns to begin trending on Twitter!
As we’ve been reporting, the WWE announce team has been told not to mention Reigns on TV for now. The edict has been in place since before WrestleMania 36, when it was revealed that Reigns wouldn’t be participating in his scheduled match with Goldberg. Braun Strowman wound up taking his place but no explanation was given as to why. Reigns claims the reason he hasn’t been on TV is due to his wife giving birth to twin sons. WWE has been keeping things very “hush, hush” as it pertains to the Reigns situation.
