According to a report from PWInsider, the reason that last night’s Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the number one challenger for the WWE Universal Championship was not an elimination match was an effort to protect the other superstars in the match who would not have to eat a pinfall.

Because of his victory, Baron Corbin will now challenge Seth Rollins at WWE Super ShowDown for the WWE Universal Championship on June 7th.
