William Regal isn’t done with AEW just yet.
During Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Regal gave what appeared to be his farewell promo.
In a backstage segment, a promo featuring Regal aired that made it seem like it was taped immediately following the Full Gear 2022 pay-per-view event. During the promo, Regal said he was just returning the favor to Jon Moxley because he realized the Blackpool Combat Club didn’t need him anymore.
Regal said he’d taught them the last thing that he could, which is to stay a step ahead and “make sure you keep your eyes in the back of your head.” The promo ended with Regal saying he’s “Blackpool Combat Club to the day I die” and faded off.
