Another match was announced to take place at NXT TakeOver: In Your House that has title implications for two championships on the black and gold brand.
After a promo and talking trash to each other about Bronson Reed having smashed into Santos Escobar, MSK came out to back up the North American champion and offset Legado del Fantasma.
This led to Escobar challenging both Reed and MSK to a “winner takes all” match where both the North American and NXT Tag Team Championships would be on the line. Reed and MSK accepted.
As of writing this, it has not been made 100% official, but it’s certainly not going to be dismissed.
