WrestleMania 35 has just wrapped up from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. As for next year, “The Show Of Shows” is slated for Tampa Bay, Florida’s Raymond James Stadium. With that in mind, it appears we already have some WrestleMania 37 news to pass along.

According to a report from Arash Markazi of the LA Times, Los Angeles is the current front-runner to land the hosting rights to WrestleMania 37 in 2021. Here’s what Markazi had to say:

“The football stadium under construction in Inglewood, which will open in 2020 as the home of the Rams and Chargers, is the front-runner to host WrestleMania 37, according to multiple sources. City and stadium officials would like to use hosting it as a test run for Super Bowl LVI in 2022″

The last time WrestleMania hit Los Angeles was for WrestleMania 21 back in 2005. Batista defeated Triple H in the main event to win the World Heavyweight Championship. John Cena also defeated JBL for the WWE Championship after a tremendous feud.

Should they return in 2021, the new football stadium – which is under construction for the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers – would host WrestleMania. The Staples Center would then host RAW, SmackDown, NXT TakeOver, and the Hall of Fame.

What do you think about WrestleMania 37 being held from Los Angeles?
