It appears that Rey Fenix may have been injured while working a match as part of an episode of AEW Dark that was being taped at Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite television tapings.
Fenix faced Joey Janela. During the match, Fenix appeared to have suffered some sort of neck injury after a piledriver from Janela.
Post-match, Fenix had to be helped to the back. It was noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio how Fenix has been hurting lately and then got hurt worse in the match.
