The wrestling world is in mourning following the passing of Terry Brunk, better known as Sabu, who has passed away at the age of 60.
Pwinsider was the first to report on Sabu’s passing. The wrestling legend competed in what was billed as his retirement match earlier this year.
Sabu is best known for his time in ECW where he was a two-time World Champion, one-time Television Champion, and ECW World Tag Team Champion.
In 2006, Sabu would join WWE as part of the ECW relaunch and would compete at WrestleMania 23 on the winning side of an eight-man tag-team match.
Sabu also appeared for TNA Wrestling and AEW during his career. His uncle, Ed Farhat, trained Sabu and is known for his time as The Sheik.
