WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoa’i has been suffering from several health issues as of late, undergoing two back surgeries, heart surgery following a heart attack, pneumonia and apparently four stints in rehabilitation facilities.
Thankfully, despite all these hardships, an update has come in the form of his daughter, Vale Anoa’i, who posted on her Twitter account that he is on an upward swing.
She noted that after spending several hours with him, he will be released back home this coming week:
Happy to have spent several hours with Dad today. He has been through SO much in the last few months, TWO back surgeries and heart surgery, four stints in rehabilitation facilities, he is very ready to come home this coming week. Still the strongest man in the world. pic.twitter.com/RPMNWHQSxi

The last we’ve seen of the legendary Wild Samoan on screen was at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020, when Afa and Sika were on the stage to celebrate Roman Reigns as The Tribal Chief.
Here’s hoping his health continues to progress and there are more positive updates to come very soon.
