Jake Paul Was Devastated After Mike Tyson Fight Was Postponed

Jake Paul was devastated to learn that his much-anticipated fight with WWE Hall of Famer Mike Tyson had been postponed due to Mike’s health issues.

The fight had been scheduled for July before being put on pause. It will now take place this November from Arlington’s AT&T Stadium.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Paul commented on his fight with Tyson getting postponed. He said,

“I definitely was devastated and pretty sad, because I wanted this fight to happen [in July]. I had to take a couple steps back, meditate, and re-shift my focus and my purpose. I’m still training, still getting better on a daily basis because I’m committed to the goal of becoming a world champion.”

Paul appeared for WWE at WWE Crown Jewel 2022 and aided his brother Logan in the Undisputed WWE Universal Title match with then-champion Roman Reigns.

Tyson played a huge role in the build to WrestleMania 14 in 1998 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.
