Konnan spent a month in the hospital before discharge, but that doesn’t mean his health is fully stable.
The AAA booker has encountered major health issues, including undergoing successful heart surgery due to complications from COVID-19 after he tested positive in February 2021.
In early 2022, Konnan required another kidney transplant. This was the second time the 60-year-old wrestling personality had received a kidney transplant, with the first occurring in 2007.
However, Konnan experienced complications as his body rejected the transplant, necessitating the use of anti-rejection medication. Last month, he was hospitalized due to diverticulitis.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Konnan has been dealing with more health issues since leaving the hospital.
According to the report, Konnan “had issues with being out of breath and lethargic and at one point was hyperventilating for seven hours and was diagnosed as having eight pounds of water accumulating around his heart and they got it out and released him from the hospital again.”
On behalf of eWn, we wish Konnan a speedy recovery.
