The over-the-top characters and settings are certainly a departure from the stiff simulating experience that 2K has provided in the past. This falls in line with earlier notes that suggest they want to create a more free-flowing experience for the casual player to be able to pick up and get a hold of immediately.
Last year, they experimented with characters such as the Zombie King Triple H, and it looks like they’re going to expand on that a lot more this year.
