We noted earlier on the site that JBL announced via a post on Twitter that he was stepping away from his weekly broadcasting role on SmackDown to dedicate more time to at-risk youth and communities in Bermuda. He made it clear that he will continue his relationship with WWE by appearing on marquee events. Tom Phillips and Corey Graves thanked JBL on Twitter by writing the following:
John, you'll be sorely missed on Tuesdays. Explore your passion to the fullest. Thank you for everything, @JCLayfield! https://t.co/tFkkhpzUBt
