WWE Applies To Trademark ‘Solid Gold’, WWE Helps Out A Fan In Need & More

WWE recently applied to trademark “Solid Gold.” This appears to be for a new character.

NBC10 out of Philadelphia, PA recently posted a story about Shawn Brown, a pro wrestling fan who received three ringside tickets to a WWE live event after John Cena was pulled from the show. Brown had previously bought tickets to a live event in March because Daniel Bryan was advertised during a “Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night” show. Bryan asked for time off during that time so he missed out again. Brown contacted WWE and said he bought the tickets specifically to see Bryan and received two free tickets as a goodwill gesture. Months later, he bought the tickets for the Cena-headlined show and that was also changed. Brown contacted the station, who got in touch with WWE and he got some ringside seats as a result.
