UPDATE: WWE has also canceled Sunday’s SmackDown! Live event in Danville, Illinois. This means that all of the brand’s weekend shows have been canceled.
ORIGINAL: WWE has canceled two of their SmackDown! Live events for this coming weekend. WWE cancelled their live events in Bowling Green, Kentucky (Saturday) and Monday’s show Kalamazoo, Michigan. There are reports that the Bowling Green, Kentucky event had less than 1,000 tickets sold and they weren’t going to depend on the walk-up. The show in Kalamazoo wasn’t far behind those numbers regarding ticket sales.
WWE claims they cancelled the shows due to “scheduling conflicts” and refunds are available at the original point of purchase.
As we’ve been reporting, WWE has canceled several live events in recent weeks.
