A local advertisement airing for the upcoming WWE live event in Jonesboro, AR has been promoting an “Intergender Special Attraction” match between Dean Ambrose and Nia Jax. According to a report from Post Wrestling, the advertisement is “incorrect.”
According to a WWE representative, the advertisement is “outdated” and the match won’t be happening.
The WWE live event in question is scheduled for Friday, February 22nd. Former WWE SmackDown! Live General Manager Paige took to her Twitter account over the weekend and expressed excitement over the match-up. But as noted, the match won’t be taking place at all.
As previously reported here on eWn, Dean Ambrose will be leaving WWE once his contract expires in April.
