WWE Concerned With Social Media + Confirmed NXT Matches

— When guys get tryouts in WWE nowadays, they are told to be careful what
they say in social media, particularly anything that could potentially get them
in trouble.

The most notable situation of this was with Mark and Jay Briscoe, where they
wrote a gay slur on Twitter, despite apologizing for it after the fact, WWE
wouldn’t touch either of them. Their current employer – Ring of Honor – also
forced them to apologize for the tweet. Jay Briscoe actually came out during a
live event and cut a promo apologizing for the tweet. For those unaware, ROH
President Cary Silkin is openly gay.

— The following matches were taped on April 24th for tonight’s edition of
WWE NXT television:

– The Ascension vs. a local team

– Charlotte vs. Alexa Bliss in a Tournament Match

– Aiden English vs. Mojo Rawley

– Angelo Dawkins vs. Big Cass

– Tyson Kidd vs. Sami Zayn vs. Tyler Breeze in a NXT Championship number one
contender’s match
