WWE held their first quarter 2019 earnings conference call on Thursday that featured executives such as Michelle Wilson (Investor Relations), George Barrios (Chief Financial Officer), and Vince McMahon (CEO and Chairman).

During the call, Barrios confirmed that the company has been working on the introduction of a new version of their streaming service, WWE Network, that will be put into motion this year.

The company has partnered with the Endeavor streaming company for the new platform, which Barrios referred to as a “re-launch.” WWE has been working on the new platform for over a year and will introduce new features that fans have been asking for. The company believes that it will help with the growth of the Network.

The good news is that the re-launch will happen in 2019 but didn’t reveal which quarter it will happen in. For quite some time now, the company has talked about introducing a tiered pricing version of the Network.

In a past survey they issued to fans back in 2018, the company wanted to know about interest from fans about a potential premium tier of the Network, which would offer “more content, features, and perks” for $15 per month.
