As previously reported, WWE has canceled their Day 1 premium live event. The show was slated to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The venue is now advertising a live event that will take place a few days prior to when Day 1 was initially scheduled. According to Pwinsider, the arena is now advertising a live event for December 27th.

Fans may have noticed that more WWE premium live events have been moved to Saturdays in the fall and winter. This could be due to Peacock’s insistence on not counter-programming against Sunday Night Football. The NFL schedule is rumored to be the reason for Day 1’s cancellation. Currently, there are no plans for WWE to hold a premium live event between Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble.

Tickets for the live event go on sale October 28th to the general public. It is a SmackDown-branded event, though several RAW Superstars are scheduled to appear. Bobby Lashley, Matt Riddle, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, and Bianca Belair are being advertised to appear. The card is also scheduled to feature Braun Strowman, Liv Morgan, The Usos, and Rey Mysterio.
