And so the plot thickens.
By now you may have noticed that WWE has been playing Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” during commercial breaks at their live shows. As noted, a QR code was shown briefly during last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Those who scan the code are taken to a video of a hangman game that features a white rabbit answering the question, “Who killed the world?” The answer turned out to be “You Did,” and the video ended with what appeared to be the date for the next episode of SmackDown – 9.23.
According to Fightful Select, WWE is determined to keep the details regarding the “white rabbit” reveal hidden. The report notes that most onscreen talent and personnel backstage are being kept in the dark.
Additionally, those involved in production have yet to be informed on what the teases imply. Usually, the production staff is well aware of this kind of secret reveal. Regarding speculation of it referring to Karrion Kross, one staff member said he wouldn’t consider that an option simply because Kross has already made his debut. Another top star noted that the payoff to whatever the “white rabbit” turns out to be is “integral in setting the tone for shows moving forward.”
