With the first ever Women’s TLC match on the horizon, it’s the perfect time for round two of the Women’s Tag Title rumor to start. This time, sources report that WWE will unveil the titles in the near future.
Last night on RAW, WWE actually mentioned the titles in a segment with Sasha and Bayley which means they will be introducing them. Meltzer reports that the mention of the titles on RAW not only confirms it, but confirms it will happen soon.
“One thing that was significant is they mentioned Women’s Tag Team Championships. We know that they’re gonna do it. But it tells you that they’re gonna do it pretty quick. Because they wouldn’t be mentioning it if it wasn’t happening pretty soon.”
The rumors regarding the Women’s tag titles have been circulating for quite some time now, but WWE’s mention seemingly confirms that it will happen. Whether each brand gets their own pair of titles remains unknown, but after WWE unveils the titles, a Wrestlemania 35 inaugural championship match is likely.
