The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE Fastlane PPV event:
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan – Edge to be special enforcer
Bryan was going for quick takedowns early. Bryan started going for submissions, but Reigns was doing more brawling and high impact moves. Reigns caught him with a sidewalk slam for 2. Reigns hit a few suplexes. Reigns sent him into the barricade as they brawled on the outside. Bryan caught him with a drop kick in the corner.
Bryan with a quick roll up for 2 and then a drop kick. Bryan sent him to the floor then hit an outside dive, but Reigns caught him. However, Bryan managed to send him head first into the ring post and connect with a flying knee strike off the apron. Bryan with another flying knee off the top rope while in the ring. Bryan with a missile drop kick off the top rope. Bryan locked in the Yes Lock, but Reigns powered out. Bryan accidentally knocked out the referee. Reigns hit the spear to Bryan and Edge counted the pin attempt, but Bryan kicked out at two. Bryan caught Reigns in a triangle choke then the Yes Lock.
Jey Uso took out Edge and Bryan with superkicks. Jey sent Edge into the ring post and Jey was then taken out by Bryan. Bryan took out Jey with some chair shots. Bryan accidentally hit Edge with a chair. This allowed Reigns to hit the Superman Punch then went for the spear, but Bryan caught him in the Yes Lock. Reigns tapped out, but Edge hit both of them with a chair. This allowed Reigns to pin Bryan for the win.
Winner: Roman Reigns
