The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE Fastlane PPV event:
WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match: Sasha Banks & Bayley © vs. Nia Jax & Tamina
Banks and Jax started things off. Banks with a series of quick strikes then tagged in Bayley, who was attacked by Jax, who then followed up with a powerbomb. Tamina covered her for 2.
The heels beat down Bayley in the corner while trying to get some heat. Bayley sent Tamina into the corner face first and got the tag to Banks, who hit a knee strike to Tamina. Banks with another knee strike to Tamina. Banks missed a dive off the middle rope then ate a back elbow. Jax got the tag and botched a samoan drop then hit it for 2. Bayley got the hot tag and hit a running knee strike to Jax.
Tamina missed a tackle and ate the ring post. Same goes for Jax. Banks now legal and hit a knee strike off the top rope to Jax. She then hit a crossbody to the heels off the top rope who caught her until Bayley connected with an outside dive. Bayley with an elbow drop off the top rope to Jax for 2. Bayley with a hurricanrana to Jax into a pinfall for the win.
