WWE has shown they have no plans to reverse renaming Pete Dunne as Butch in their latest set of trademark filings.
On last week’s SmackDown, Dunne was called-up with the new name which has sparked a backlash from fans online.
In the latest filings with the U.S. Patent Office, WWE trademarked the name Butch, confirming Dunne’s new name.
WWE also filed a trademark for ‘Moonsault,’ the name of their new NFT marketplace expected to launch before WrestleMania 38.
A trademark for ‘Lockup‘ has also been filed by WWE.
