WWE Files Trademark For NXT Storyline

On May 30, WWE filed for a new trademark with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). The term was for ‘#FREETONYD.’

In recent weeks, WWE has continued a storyline in NXT after Tony D’Angelo was brought in for questioning by police and was ‘arrested.’
