WWE released Zelina Vega from her contract on Friday. The belief is that this was due to her being outspoken about WWE’s edict on wrestlers using third party platforms such as Twitch, OnlyFans, and Cameo.
In an update, WWE is claiming that she was fired because she breached her contract when she launched her OnlyFans non-nude account, according to Sports Illustrated.
It was noted that WWE felt like she boxed them into a corner when she opened the account after WWE implemented the edict about Twitch.
WWE has told its wrestlers that they were not to engage with third parties and if they do then they could be subject to fines, suspensions or they could be fired.
