Fightful Select reported today that there was interest from the WWE NXT side in Moose ahead of his free agency period this year.
There was hope that Moose could get signed and head straight to the main roster, but Impact made a huge play to get him signed before WWE could officially negotiate with him, so the offer never ended up being made.
It was previously reported that Moose had signed a new deal with Impact Wrestling after his contract was slated to expire. The new deal with Impact is for two years and will carry Moose into the Summer of 2023.
