According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, there are two more rumored names for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class. It is worth noting that they were the first to mention The Honky Tonk Man for this year’s class:
Exclusive: HOF news….
Torrie Wilson & Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake will be inducted as part of the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame class.
— WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) March 2, 2019
The first rumored inductee is Torrie Wilson. Torrie got her start in WCW alongside David Flair, but she’d also go on to manage Shane Douglas during her time there.
Once moving over to WWE in the 2001 invasion, Torrie Wilson became a staple of the word Diva. Competing mostly in matches that involved what would now be dubbed indecent exposure such as the bra and panties match and lingerie pillow fights.
Perhaps the highlight of Torrie’s run was when she was on the cover of Playboy in the spring of 2003.
The additional name mentioned was that of Brutus The Barber Beefcake. A staple of the 1980s Rock N’ Wrestling era, Brutus is a former WWE Tag Team Champion but is perhaps best known as the best friend and sidekick for Hulk Hogan following the explosion of The Mega Powers in 1989.
If true, Brutus Beefcake would join his WrestleMania 4 opponent, The Honky Tonk Man, in this year’s Hall of Fame class.
If proven to be true, congratulations to both Superstars who will be strutting, in their own unique fashion, into the WWE Hall of Fame.
