WWE Hall Of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong is suffering from bone cancer in his ribs, shoulder and prostate, and at 80 years old, the pro wrestling legend is apparently refusing to get any treatments to attempt to fight off the disease.
Scott Armstrong took to Twitter to comment on his father, WWE Hall of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong’s battle with bone cancer in several parts of his body.
The 80-year old star was a multi-time NWA regional champion and a major player for Smokey Mountain Wrestling. He was also ranked by PWI as one of the top 500 wrestlers in 1995 and 2003.
“Today my 80 year old Dad, WWE Hall of Famer Bullet Bob, asked if he could come over to get a workout,” wrote Scott Armstrong on Twitter this week. “He’s got bone cancer in his ribs, shoulder and prostate and chose not to go through any treatment (his choice)!”
The tweet was accompanied by a photo of the legend doing a work out, with Scott addressing it in the post as well.
Scott wrote, “I put 30 lbs. on there and he said, ‘Gimme 100 lbs.!!!'”
