WWE continues to bring in former talents to work in backstage roles for the company. The latest being Shawn Daivari, according to a report from Wrestling Inc., which was first reported by Last Word On Pro Wrestling.

Daivari is better known for his work as the manager of both Muhammad Hussan and The Great Khali during his WWE tenure. He also worked as an in-ring talent during that time. Daivari worked for WWE from 2004 to 2007.

After making his exit from the company, Daivari went on to work for other promotions such as IMPACT Wrestling, Ring Of Honor (ROH), Lucha Underground, and more. Along with fellow former WWE star Mr. Anderson, Daivari opened a professional wrestling school in Minnesota.

His last appearance on WWE programming came alongside his brother, 205 Live star Ariya Daivari, at the Greatest Royal Rumble show last year in Saudi Arabia. Recently, WWE has also brought in WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett, Shane Helms, and former IMPACT stars Sonjay Dutt and Abyss to work backstage.
