WWE Holding SmackDown Event In Los Angeles This December

WWE will be returning to Los Angeles for a SmackDown episode at the Staples Center on Friday, December 10. This will be the first WWE show to take place in LA since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Originally, the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland was originally set to host the December 10 SmackDown, but that was nixed with the venue hosting the March 7, 2022 edition of Raw. 

Dave Meltzer reported last week that the SmackDown episode was essentially a favorite to FOX executives so they could attend and see the show live. 

The Usos vs. The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles is being advertised for the show.
