As we’ve been reporting, WWE will be airing a new special in India titled, “Superstar Spectacle”. The show will be a special two hour event. The list of Superstars included for the show include: Jinder Mahal, Kavita Davi, Charlotte Flair, AJ Styles, Ric Flair and many more. The show will be taped at the Capital Wrestling Center on January 21st, then will broadcast on Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 3 and Sony MAX on January 26th. There will also be plans for the show to air on the WWE Network with English commentary and Hindu commentary for India as well.
The idea for the event came in November and was originally slated to be a one night tournament. Unfortunately, plans changed and WWE changed the taping to January. WWE is very hopeful for this to become another weekly television series aimed towards the India based audience, similar to what we see with NXT UK.
