WWE will hold the 32-competitor women’s tournament in the third quarter of this year. WWE is interested in two former Impact Wrestling Knockouts for the upcoming tournament, according to Pwinsider.com. Those stars are former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Jade aka Mia Yim and Marti Belle.
The plan is to begin filming episodes for the tournament in July and hold the finals of the tournament on Tuesday, August 29th. The women’s tournament will air on the WWE Network and likely be taped in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University.
