We open the show with Big E, RK-Bro and Bobby Lashley and MVP.
Big E stands in between them but to the side. He takes the mic and reminds them of his plans to cash in tonight. Fans pop. Riddle says it’s good to have Big E back on RAW, but please don’t cash in on Randy because that’s my bro. MVP tells Riddle to shut his dumbass up. MVP says Big E won’t be cashing in on Randy because Randy isn’t winning the WWE Title tonight. MVP says Big E chose the wrong night to show up on RAW. MVP goes on about how he usually joins everyone else in laughing at Big E’s stupid dancing around, but tonight he and Lashley are not in the mood to laugh because somehow Orton and Riddle politicked their way into changing the WWE Title match from Extreme Rules to tonight, when they were supposed to challenge for the RAW Tag Team Titles. Orton says it’s been 14 long years since they battled in this ring so he thought why wait until Extreme Rules? Orton says maybe he was looking for a way to throw Lashley off his game by getting the match changed. Orton brags about having strings pulled to get the change. Fans chant “Randy!” now.
MVP takes shots at The New Day and says maybe Big E came to RAW because he’s scared to cash in on WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns or maybe scared of Brock Lesnar. Lashley says he’s not scared of Lesnar. MVP goes on and Orton interrupts, saying MVP is wasting his breath on MVP because the fight is right here and he’s proved it takes just one RKO to bring Lashley to his knees and that’s what he will do to become the new WWE Champion. Big E gets a pop for saying he will cash in on Orton. Lashley says Orton made the biggest mistake of his life challenging for his title. Lashley has strong threats for both Orton and Big E.
Big E taunts Lashley by putting the briefcase in his face. Lashley slaps it away. Orton ends up dropping Lashley with the RKO for a huge pop. Orton runs around the ring as fans go wild. Orton taunts Lashley and exits the ring as his music hits. Big E watches from the corner, focused, as MVP tends to Lashley. Orton looks on from the ramp.
– We see RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair backstage getting ready. She will face Shayna Baszler in a Championship Contender’s match. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and we see how Shayna Baszler caused Nia Jax to lose a title match against RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair last week. Flair is backstage with Sarah Schreiber now, asking about Baszler’s confidence that she can beat her. Flair says Baszler and Jax are both great competitors but Baszler won’t get to her level if she continues to be dragged down by dead weight. She goes on about teaching a lesson to Baszler as she did with Jax last week, and declares she is the very best to do this, and the ring is her throne and she will be champion forever. Flair walks off.
Charlotte Flair vs. Shayna Baszler
Nia Jax causes a distraction, and Charlotte gets a big boot from behind for the win.
Winner: Charlotte Flair
Alexa Bliss comes out with a gift for Charlotte. It’s wrapped in gold, with a red bow, and Bliss presents it to Charlotte as Lilly sits in the corner. Bliss says the gift is a thank you for accepting the title match.
Flair says she doesn’t collect dolls, she collects championships. She then says there comes a time in every big girl’s life that they need to leave their dolls at home.
Bliss mocks her, saying they get it, but have some fun, let your hair down, and Lilly is right, everyone loves a good gift. So take it.
Charlotte: “No.”
Bliss: “Yes.”
Charlotte says no again, and Bliss returns with a Yes and a smile. Weak YES chant from the crowd. Charlote takes it, saying she does love gifts. Ok. It’s not ticking, so they’re good there. She opens the gift, as the crowd chants to OPEN IT. She does, just a little, and her smile is gone. Then, she opesn all the way, and it’s a Charlotte inspired Lily.
Her name is Charlie, and it looks exactly like Charlotte. The doll gets a Charlie chant. Alexa wanted to give her something to play with after she took the title, but she heard Charlotte earlier, how she doesn’t need anyone, but everyone deserves a friend, even a narcissistic, self-absorbed, bitch like Charlotte.
Charlotte says she loves that the doll has matching accessories, but Bliss is crazy if she thinks she’ taking the title. She’s crazier if she thinks Chalrotte wants this stupid doll. Actually, she’ll have Mattel send her the real Charlotte action figure. She then Long Lives The Queens Alexa and tosses the doll into her fac. Bliss hops onto Charlotte, then dodges a kick, and Kicks Charlotte off the apron. Bliss hops on Charlotte’s back and hits a Destroyer then sits in the middle of the ring. She stands, grabs Lily and the title, and holds it high in the air.
Charlie lays in the middle of the ring, no-selling everything.
DREW MCINTYRE makes his entrance before we go to break.
WE come back and Jinder and his homies attack Drew from behind. The Viking Raiders eventually come out to save Drew, and the heels leave the ring.

Big E is backstage, and here come the homies!!! Woods and Kofi are on either side of him. They tell E that they miss him. E deserves this. Tonight is the night. He brings up Kofi’s hometown, here in the B. E asks Kofi for advice. Kofi says E has everything it takes to be the face, so he don’t need advice. He knows what to do. Woods says E does look a little tense, so he’s gotta relax a little.
They dance a little.
Backstage, Reggie escapes losing his title.
Damian Priest (C) vs. Jeff Hardy – United States Championship
Priest retains with The Reckoning.
Winner: Damian Priest
After the match, Sheamus attacks both Priest and Hardy. Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick on Priest but he cuts him off with a kick of his own and sends him out the ring.
Nikki ASH asks Rhea backstage to come up with a special celebration. Rhea says it’s not a good time because she has to focus on Natalya, and then the tag team championships. Natalya and Tamina say they don’t have to worry about anything because they’re not winning anything. Nikki dares Tamina to do something and Tamina says she was almost scared before shoving her and the two teams brawl. Sonya comes back and announces Tamina vs. Nikki AHS (yes she botched it) and Rhea vs. Natayla.
Orton is backstage in the locker room and Riddle is rattling off some nonsense. Big E wishes him luck and warns Randy that he’ll be watching closely.
Nikki ASH vs. Tamina
Pretty much a big mess. Nikki hits a Tornado DDT, Tamina kicks out, the ref counts to 3, Tamina’s music plays and Tamina is announced as the winner even though Nikki was presumed the winner.
Winner: Nikki ASH
Natalya and Rhea jump Nikki after.
Rhea Ripley vs. Natalya
Ripley makes Natayla tap with the Cloverleaf.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
Charlotte Flair is backstage and says she will destroy Alexa and Lilly and funds her doll backstage, proceeding to throw in the garbage.
New Day, Ali and Mansoor vs. Mace, T-Bar, AJ Styles and Omos
Omos dominated everyone and gets a huge slam on Ali for the win.
Winners: AJ Styles, Omos, Mace and T-Bar
Backstage, MVP says Big E is more of an annoyance than a distraction. Bobby is only focused on inflicting as much pain on Randy as much as possible. And if Big E wants to cash in after, it’ll be the worst career choice he’s made. Big E stops by and reminds Lashley once again that he intends to cash in.
Doudrop vs. Eva Marie
Doudrop wins with the crossbody.
Winner: Doudrop
Bobby Lashley (C) vs. Randy Orton – WWE Championship
Bobby Lashley gets a Spear after Orton RKO’s MVP on the outside, who causes a distraction to retain.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
After the match, Bobby sends Riddle into the ring post and slams Orton through the announce table. But when he does, he appeared to tweak his leg. That brings out Big E with the ref. Big E is cashing in MITB. Just as he chases in, we go to commercial.
Back from commercial, Bobby is begging not to ring the bell with his injury. Big E slaps Bobby and the bell rings.
Bobby Lashley (C) vs. Big E – WWE Championship
After an intense back and forth that saw Bobby spear Big E, Big E hoists Bobby on his shoulders and hits The Big Ending to win the WWE Championship.
Winner: Big E
