During Saturday night’s WWE NXT Deadline pay-per-view event, it was announced that New Year’s Evil will be taking place on January 10, 2023. This is a Tuesday, which means the show will be airing as a themed episode of NXT on the USA Network.
As we reported earlier here on eWn, The New Day defeated Pretty Deadly to capture the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT Deadline. With the win, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston now join FTR and The Street Profits as teams who have held the NXT, RAW and SmackDown tag team titles.
Following the match, Big E. took to Twitter to congratulate his stablemates. He wrote,
“What an absurdly talented pair of partners! I won the wrestling lottery when I got to team with these two. Massive congrats, my brothers! Love y’all to death.”
