At WWE NXT: Vengeance Day, the tag team of Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin, known as Toxic Attraction, imploded during their match against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. The duo, recruited by former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose, had become two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. During the match this past Saturday, they blamed each other for the loss and trashed each other in the ring.
The latest episode of WWE NXT was main evented by Bayley hosting an episode of “Ding Dong, Hello!” featuring Jayne and Dolin. While the tension between Jayne and Dolin had been building up for weeks, it finally reached its boiling point on the February 7th episode of WWE NXT.
The segment saw the Toxic Attraction stablemates verbally attacking each other before Bayley seemingly managed to eradicate the cracks in their relationship. Dolin and Jayne teased a potential reconciliation and another title run — possibly even for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships held by Damage CTRL.
In a sudden burst of pure rage, Jayne unleashed a superkick onto Dolin, who was completely defenseless. The commentators were stunned into silence, as it was completely unexpected and out of character for Jayne.
Jayne kicked Dolin in the head, threw her into the set’s door, and then posed over her to make the split official.
The whole ordeal was quite shocking, nevertheless, it is sure to have a lasting impact on the WWE NXT landscape.
