Tommaso Ciampa vs. Tony D’Angelo was booked at this year’s WWE NXT Stand & Deliver event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Ciampa came out aggressive and put a beat down on Tony with a series of running knee strikes to the face. Back in the ring, Tony took him down and put the boots to him. Ciampa with a series of clotheslines. Ciampa missed a knee strike and Tony hit a suplex. Tony caught him with a low blow then hit a DDT for 2. Ciampa with a submission hold, but Tony grabbed the ropes. Tony went over with his finisher.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa
